The theme being explored here by the poet was the popular celebration of the new millennium,
generally misconceived at the time as being 01 January, 2000, the change over from 1999 to 2000, whereas the true first day of the 3rd mille AD was officially recorded as: 01 January, 2001.
The reason being the Gregorian calendar, which has no year zero,
